The art of forging combines craftsmanship with fascinating symbolism. The eternal play of yin and yang, of day and night, of masculine and feminine is reflected in the creation of a blade - an art that has existed since the beginning of time.
While you forge your own blade, we will also explore the five-element system from traditional Chinese philosophy and medicine. The metal element and its connection to the fire element play a central role not only in the forging process, but also in our lives. The element "metal" symbolizes - among other things - the ability to let go of what no longer has space and to set clear boundaries, in other words: to cut through what must be in order to make room for what should be.
I will guide you through this process step by step. Together we will create a unique and powerful work, forged by your own hands - a blade that reminds you every time you use it to consciously and carefully cut through what needs to be cut through.
This workshop is open to anyone who wants to have a special experience, regardless of previous knowledge.
However, I have deliberately designed this one-day workshop and the selection of models and materials (stainless steel) to appeal particularly to women, to inspire them with the art of forging and to help them cut through what needs to be cut through.
