Dark Star Blades

My name is Martin Seidl, and my workshop is located in Vienna's 23rd district, where I've been working since 2016.

I've been forging blades and all sorts of other goods as a hobby since 2010, and I became self-employed as a knife smith in 2018. I learned the necessary skills in several week-long courses with various master blacksmiths.

My main focus is on high-quality chef's knives made from self-forged Damascus steel, stainless knives made from powder-metallurgical high-performance steel, and swords.

What I love most about this craft is the diversity, both in the different materials used and in the working methods. Every piece is unique and a new challenge.
