Michael Blank - HAMMERAX

We forge a handy axe for throwing and carving from a half-kilo hammer head. We get inspiration for the shape from Viking axes and the Franziska. With my help, we work out the shape and cutting edge with a sledgehammer. After forging on the first day, we carve and grate the handle from ash or hickory wood on the second day.
